The A Level (Advanced Level) is a subject‑based qualification conferred as part of the General Certificate of Education.
It is also a school‑leaving qualification offered by educational bodies in the United Kingdom and British Crown dependencies to students completing secondary or pre‑university education.
Many countries have developed similar qualifications with the same name and format as the British A Levels. Obtaining an A Level—or equivalent qualification—is generally required for university entrance, with admission based on grades achieved.
The IGCSE qualification is highly recognized worldwide and emphasizes content knowledge, application, and skills. It is the equivalent of SPM, but with IGCSE, students graduate a year earlier than their SPM counterparts.
The fee per subject is RM 10,000.
